Escape to a truly beautiful place in Essex. Our family-run, 27-acre estate is a haven of natural beauty, featuring stunning lakes and abundant wildlife. We offer glamping, exciting open days, childrens fishing and farm groups, and animal encounters, providing a memorable retreat.

We are so excited to be opening an honesty farm stand. We will be selling freshly baked bread, cakes, cookies, muffins and seasonal bakes.
We will be open every saturday from 9am until sell out.

All of our events on the farm are strictly pre-bookable. We are not an open farm.
Glamping
Our exclusive glamping experience is a true retreat. With just one bell tent, sleeping four, you'll enjoy complete privacy and peace in your own field, nestled beside the sheep. Fully equipped with a shower, toilet, and kitchen area, its an exclusive escape.
Animal Encounters
Get up close and personal with our animal encounters. Enjoy goat walking and personal one-to-one miniature sheep encounters, where you can feed them, spend time with them, and create great photo opportunities.
Kids Fishing & Farm Groups
Our fun, friendly fishing sessions run during the summer months on selected Saturdays. offering fantastic tuition in a relaxed environment. Or get your hands dirty with our farm groups, where kids can learn all about animal care, hoof trimming and egg collecting to mucking out and milking.
Farm Animals
Our family includes miniature sheep, elegant Nubian goats, and our special Shropshire sheep, part of our breeding program. We're also home to Aylesbury ducks and ex- battery hens who were rescued and now live a pampered life here. Our flock includes Philip the cockerel, a rescue success story, and our farm cat from Battersea, proving that every animal deserves a safe and loving home. They are very much a part of our family.
Fishing at Dairymeade
Beyond our lovely animals, we also have three fishing lakes. Our smallest lake is perfect for our kids' fishing group and is used for match fishing, while the other two larger lakes operate on a syndicate basis. If you would like further details then please click the link below.
Wildlife at Dairymeade
Nestled in the heart of the countryside, our farm is a sanctuary for wildlife. We're frequently visited by deer, and little owls nest in our towering oak trees. You might also spot foxes, badgers, and muntjac deer. Our lakes welcome Canadian and greylag geese, who often mate here, and we're graced by a resident heron and a kingfisher is often seen. In the wood at the bottom, you can even hear a woodpecker and cuckoos.

Welcome to our farm sanctuary! Vicky & Danny, a husband and wife team, have lived here since 2012, dedicating ourselves to creating a beautiful place for all to enjoy. Alongside our three children, two dogs, and many other animals, we work together to nurture this space.
