Danny
A man with a true love for the great outdoors, a keen fisherman since a little boy, he always likes to keep busy. Incredibly hard-working, his passion has transformed this once barren farmland into an amazing wildlife sanctuary, a family home, and a safe haven for the many animals that live here. Outside of his full-time job, you'll typically find him putting up fencing or building a new animal shelter. Danny also runs the kids' fishing groups in the summer months, as he finds it important to keep the sport of fishing alive for the younger generation. Having lived in the area all his life, he believes deeply in its importance, driven to stay and build an amazing future for his family here.

Her journey is truly inspiring. She took a significant leap of faith in Danny, leaving her townhouse and moving to Essex to embark on this sustainable life. A risk that has transformed her world. Living in a caravan with no running water and electricity only by generator, they fought long and hard to build the beautiful home they now live in. Theres no looking back, as she has fully embraced the countryside. She is the visionary behind the farm, always trying to evolve it and constantly coming up with new ideas for the projects and activities here. She feels that as many people as possible should be able to enjoy this really tranquil, beautiful place. You can normally find her walking her goats around the lakes, tending to her veg plot or baking goods for The Nibbling Goat.
